Secluded Cosy Luxury Pod with wood fired hot tub

So cosy and relaxing

We loved everything, could do with some more outside lighting for hot tub :)

We’ve just enjoyed a very relaxing long weekend at Whitley Burrow. The pod is located within a very picturesque setting in lovely open farm land. It was nice to meet the friendly farm dogs and horses when we arrived. The pod itself is lovely and cosy, it was a cold, windy weekend and we didn’t lack for warmth. The pod was spotless when we arrived. The facilities within are very good. There is a useful sized kitchenette with microwave, hob and fridge freezer. There is also free WiFi that works very well. The shower is good and the bed is very comfortable. The settee in the living area is also very comfortable. The hot tub is great and fairly easy to use. We struggled to get it lit the first night, but after we worked out the ratio of kindling and fire lighters to wood, we didn’t look back. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Georgia is always on hand to assist with any queries. The New Inn in Hook-A-Gate is well worth a visit. A welcoming pub with open fires and lovely food. Overall we had a lovely time. I would highly recommend Whitely Burrow and I’m sure we will visit again in the future.

There is nothing that we didn’t like. The hot tub area could perhaps be better lit for winter months. Not a massive issue as we had a torch and the light from the pod.

It certainly was a secluded, cosy, luxury pod, and it was amazing, very clean & well equipped (utensils, bowls plates, good WiFi, etc). Georgia (host) was very helpful in guiding us to the pod and letting us know she was on hand if we needed anything else. Seeing the animals from the farm every morning enhanced the already beautiful views, and in the evening, the hot tub was perfect (with instructions that were easy to follow). It wasn’t too far from the town, which is great to walk around with lots to do.

The drive was a bit bumpy, and we had to watch out for a few potholes, but living down country lanes myself, it wasn’t anything I’m not used to.

The property was beautiful, really lovely and cosy and had everything we needed for the weekend. The views were amazing couldn’t have asked for more!

The land is absolutely gorgeous I was amazed the whole time we was there. The pony gates next door definitely made my morning when I woke up, very friendly! Seeing all the cows on the way in and out made me want to all of a sudden get involved and become a farmer 😂 The bed was very comfortable and the pod was very clean it was perfect

Nothing to dislike!

Lovely views of the countryside, everything we needed for our stay. Loved meeting the 4 legged neighbours and the cosy hot tub.

The location was perfect, so quiet and relaxing. The Swedish hot tub was amazing.

The only thing I would suggest is a torch or some lighting around the hot tub. If there was a torch available, I'm sorry but I didn't see one. We went in the hot tub around 7pm, which this time of year was pitch black, (october) and we had to keep taking the phone out with the torch on to add logs. Then when the tub was ready, I had to use the phone to see what I was doing while trying to get in. The fence around the edge may be secure for larger dogs however I have a patterdale with an extremely high prey drive and was unable to let him out off the lead. But for some dogs this will be fine.
