This listing is for an SUV rental that comes kitted out with all car camping essentials. Considering that this is how I travel and camp at home with my own vehicle, this was perfect for me! All provided gear was high quality and I was very comfortable sleeping in the vehicle, even through some intense thunderstorms. The SUV, while an older model, drove great and didn’t stand out as a typical tourist rental car. Sean and Cece were wonderful to work with and I will definitely rent from them again!

Amazing booking!!! Hosts were so responsive and so helpful with anything you needed. Car was equipped with all you could need for a solo/duo camping trip and car was spacious and ran perfect. Would absolutely recommend and plan to book with them again in the future!!!

Some tips for other travelers (these have nothing to do with the hosts or the booking, just a few tips!) : If you are used to driving a small car this car is an adjustment - it is big and tall, which is perfect for driving the Road to Hāna or anywhere on the island, but if you drive a small compact car like I do it may take some adjusting! Second tip : if you are somewhat of a princess like me, either bring an extra blanket/pillow or buy one at a store near the airport. The blanket and pillow provided are absolutely great and better than I expected to be completely honest, but it can get cold at night so if you aren’t used to that head to walmart right by the airport and grab an extra blanket for like $10!!
