Location Location Location! exactly in the center of the Port with a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea, port, people,, cafes, donkeys and everything u wish for! the apartment was very clean, comfy beds, fast internet, good Air conditioning, almost all amenities in the room. you can benefit from sea view and mountain view in the same apartment. the host was amazing and fast responding to all queries and helping a lot. decent toilet and shower for a quick travel. the apartment is easily accessible from the port and check in was within seconds. highly recommended.

Gorgeous view! Close to everything. Comfortable beds. Our host Sotiroula was wonderful always quick to respond.

The location is wonderful but not for people wanting tranquility! We loved the action in the port as we looked out over supplies bring unloaded from boats, placed in piles and immediately separated and loaded cleverly onto horses, donkeys and mules as well as handcarts of every kind. Watching yachts and sailboats trying to fit in the small harbor as ferries docked while water taxies and dinghies zipped around. Bells rang regularly! Great restaurants all around the port and fabulous people watching. From 11 AM to 1 PM, a crowd gets off a day cruise ship and fills the street and we hear it gets even more crowded. If you like a lot of happenings and noise at Easter, Hydra is your place!

A few things needed in the kitchen (bread knife, sharp slicing knife, another short mug to fit under the coffee maker, a new ice cube tray) but these are minor issues! Perhaps some hooks on the inside of the bathroom door! But none of these are spoilers to a great stay and we are sure that the wonderful owner would be willing to fix that! The kitchen cabinet over the seating counter is difficult to get into.

We loved the location and the host. It would have been better to have a queen Murphy bed so that there would be a couch in the living room during the day. When it rained, we sat on the bed or the bar stools because there was no living room furniture. It could use a variety of pillow types and a mattress topper. We loved having a clothes washer. The kitchenette was functional. Perhaps some larger drink glasses. The price was reasonable for what we received. Hydra is a wonderful place, and the balcony looking over the busy little port was good entertainment.

Great harbor location. Great views from patio.

A bit spartan. Barely enough service for two. Need instruction book, washer instructions were in greek. Cool weather, could not get heater to operate. Patio door sticking badly, afraid of breaking it getting out. Bed was OK, not great.
