Seven Canyons Sedona Luxury with Panoramic Views

location, location, location. The only reason to rent this home is for the view. However there are plenty of other homes that would offer the same or better without all the issues.

There was vermin in the walls!!! We rented a 3 bedroom home so that everyone could enjoy their own room; but one of the rooms was vermin infested. No joke, it was so bad that we abandoned it b/c it was impossible to sleep w/ the noise in walls! Gross! Pool - installed "backwards". Getting in and out requires use of steps and the only place they fit are at the end which is hard to get in b/c there are filters on the sides and no steps in the pool. The other side has a flat area and a step, clearly intended to be the entry. "Fountain jets" you see in the photos barely work. 4 on each side and nothing would make more than 1 on each side send water more than a few inches into the pool. Fuse also tripped multiple times. Not end of the world, but given it's a pain to get in and out, it was annoying. Once in, nice place to relax and enjoy the view. Hot tub - great... when it worked. Lights/temp controlled by touch panel, which rarely worked. The pool maintenance person who came to test the water said they are aware of problem, but owners refuse requests to replace it. Appliances/amenities - The permanent appliances (dishwasher, microwave, oven...) where all very nice. Kitchen was reasonably stocked for average rental - but far below similar homes in this price range. The couch is fine, but the rest of the furniture should be replaced with something comfortable. Outdoor furniture is super cheap and not comfortable, had to use multiple seat pads to be able to sit and enjoy the views. Towels (pool and shower) are cheap, some were thread bare and bleach stained. Bathroom- 1 is is tiny & unusable, the head faces the door and nothing you do can keep from flooding the floor. Master bath is great. Problem is master has 2 queens so if you want a king, you give up that bathroom. Other - Be careful, especially with kids - Basement floor bubbling from water damage. Steep stairs - handrail doesn't go to top.

The property was clean and all amenities were functional. We had a group of friends in town to hike and mountain bike. The Seven Canyons home was a great place to unwind and view an amazing sunset in the evenings.
