Dewa Daru Resort

this place is magical. the rooms are wide and very comfortable, close to the main road and to the harbour. the garden is huge and it is possible to rent scooter for cheap prices.

the staff couldn’t speak that much english so sometimes was hard to communicate, besides this all perfect.

As a very old hotel The room was clean enaugh, Aircon work very well. Good location, scooter rental always ready just 30 meters from the port.

No hot water, the water keep running can not turn it off. But the most disturbing is the lack of professionalism in hospitality. No information about breakfast, when I ask about it to a staff he can not answer, need to wait the person in charge who knows about it. they have no SOP in their work, no standard information in the reception like breakfast menu, bfast time etc. have been sleep in many small hotels in the village but this one need to improve a lot. They also need to do something with their trash in front of their rooms, they literally dump plastic there and it is very sad.

On the spot for the port- no dodgy taxi needed- 1 mins walk-

We loved our stay in this hotel, the host always took care of us and was very helpful ! He planned an incredible snorkeling day for us. The breakfast was excellent and the sea view is just breathtaking. Also our bangalow was very clean and comfortable ! I really recommend it! Thanks again !

We had a lovely stay at Dewa Daru during our 4 days at Karimunjawa. It is a very quiet place and the staff there is great, Ucut is always ready to help you! He is so nice!! We really enjoyed the breakfast in the relaxed green area with nice sea views. The location is also great, just next to the harbour but far away from the busy main street.

Although the place and the staff is great, the bungalows are a little bit old. They are very clean though.
