Nice and quiet

Could not get any hot water to have a proper shower in any of the 3 showers, hot water working in all the taps , just not in the showers

Lovely looking place, very stylish and modern. Very nice hot tub.

We encountered issues with one of the showers on many occasions, would take approx 5 minutes to heat up although it would not be long before they returned ice cold. Maintenance came out on 2 occasions and were very helpful but it seemed when we needed the showers they just weren’t hot. In the end 6 of us resulted in sharing 1 shower. A takeaway bag of what seemed to be full of used Chinese cartons had been left outside in the cupboards, unsure how long it had been there so we just removed it ourselves. Some of the bed side lights in the bedroom did not work as well as one of the USB ports. One of our guests went to climb on top of the bunk bed and came to face with a couple of cobwebs, when leaving you’re told to strip all beds that have been used so unsure when this bed was changed last? Lovely looking lodge but I feel it was not worth the almost £700 it had cost us for 4 nights.

Super lodge with lovely comfy beds and fully equipped kitchen. Scenic location, very quiet. With the patio doors open you could hear ducks & birds at the nearby lake. We also saw deer by our lodge! Good access by car to shops and town

It is a shame there are no facilities on site. Luckily we know the area very well so were able to find what we needed

Had one night witch wasn't excepable when was kept awake by neighbours fighting and swearing.

A quiet holiday rental located within 10mins drive of the main town of Newbury. I stayed in two different properties over a three week period and I can honestly say both properties were well maintain, clean and comfortable. I would like to say a big thank you Julie from Cherry Bird Park who was an absolute treasure.

We liked being closer to nature, seeing deer and the birds was lovely. We liked the overall layout of the lodge, the style and the comfort was lovely. Quality of the lodges were lovely and the space provided. The bath was modern and the hot tub was big.

No wifi (which was stated in arrival pack) master bedroom the tv was on top of the wardrobe, along with an old Xmas tree and the tv bracket was still on the wall. The headrests in hot tub were very worn, no parking immediately outside lodges. No ledges in bathroom for you to put things eg. Shampoo bubble bath etc. Mentions luxury lodges on the sign but no tea or coffee but a coffee machine with no pods. Would have appreciated the small touches to make it classed as luxury. In pre arrival pack which was our main point of contact with staff it mentions ‘only stripping beds that were used’ this potentially implies they don’t change the beds if not used? Which is a hygiene issue. Had also noticed that another families lodge was being cleaned before they were even strapped into their car belts before 9am check out time.

The property was lovely

There were a couple of thing that would have helped like a chair in the bedroom and an instruction sheet for the appliances.
