Better lit key box!

Charming serene location Cosy getaway everything thought of and the hut was fully equipped for self catering , so stylishly decorated it was absolutely gorgeous Outside area all set up for alfresco dining and firepit all laid and ready for a cosy evening stargazing and hedgehog spotting. Great WiFi signal a bonus too Bed was so comfy we almost overlaid Felt like we were in middle of nowhere with amazing views but only few minutes drive to into town to get supplies So looking forward to another visit soon 😍

Hidden gem close to Melton Mowbray, the hut is immaculate and has everything you need. The owners are very welcoming and the location is beautiful. We have stayed in church house hut twice and will definitely return!

Little touches from the hosts, like the oat milk and vegan marshmallows in the fridge. The hut was immaculate and so beautiful, perfect quiet setting surrounded by nature. Absolutely loved it, will definitely come again. Thank you.

One minor thing - we would have liked a grill to put over the fire pit so that we could cook outside.

What wasn’t to like! All the special touches, the lush was products, great soft furnishings and funky decor.. was really something special

There was nothing we didn’t like

I Loved the solitude, peace and quiet. The hut itself was warm, cosy and we'll situated. Mark was a fantastic host. A lovely couple who created an idyllic stay.

I didn't dislike anything, but as someone who cooks from scratch, there are a few things I think folk might find useful, such as a few more pots, pans (a lidded saute pan to save the beautiful woodwork from splatters) and microwave safe bakeware to get the benefit of the fabulous multifunction oven installed (loved it, want one!) With so many areas having their own recycling schemes, an explanation of how to deal with separating waste would be helpful. Not all areas have the same enviable recycling. But there was nothing to dislike. I could live there, it was fabulous.
