La casa del artista sus cuartos tienen buen espacio, las camas cómodas, la cocina con todo lo necesario, cuenta con 2 baños completos, fuimos 5 personas y nos acomodamos muy bien. Sobre todo la atención, contestaban rápido, atentos y amables.

The house is exactly as shown on the pictures. Very comfortable and perfect for larger groups.

One small suggestion - please put AC in the living area

Needs some renewal, especially as far as kitchenware is concerned.

Little swimming pool perfect to take off the heat off the day. A spacious living room. Contact extremely helpful and responsive. He really wants to help you. Calm neighbourhood.

Cannot go to the city center walking. Although Uber can do the job pretty well. Slightly old style decoration.

The air conditioners in the bedrooms were a godsend! Merida was extremely hot when we were there so of course the house was hot as well. There was a big portable fan for use in the living areas. The artworks on the walls were vibrant and modern. The colourful ceramics and grandmother’s display cabinet of crockery and vases, etc, lent a very homely feel to this lovely 3-bedroom house 3km from the historic centre Paseo Montejo. We used Uber very easily and achievable for everyday outings. It was too hot to walk far. Normally we would walk 3km to an historic area but not in high Mexican summer!

Nothing

The house is a nice and safe location, with restaurants/take away, groceries and fresh fruits/veggies shops nearby. It is also well placed for getting around the city and to make day trips to the beach or other locations around Merida. The property owner , Francisco, is 100% committed to his guests. We had plenty of welcome gifts upon arrival: fruit, fresh roasted and grounded coffee, sweet bread, drinking water. He was always attentive to our questions and responded fast to our requests for recommendations, making us feel at home and treating with such diligence as if we were members of his family. In particular, we had a couple of urgent requests which were so swiftly addressed by Francisco, and luckily with the best possible outcome. We couldn't have asked for more!

Everything was fine! I didn't like the fact that I had to leave such a wonderful city and the comfortable accommodation we had at Casa del Artista! I would definitely come back! An extra week of holidays would have been better :)
