QM Diving Resort

The beach was beautiful and the fellow at the Cafe made an amazing coffee.

This is a full blown active construction site. You will arrive and wonder where the 'resort' is. Unsafe for smaller children due to construction areas and also the large population of sadly stray dogs (of various ages and states of health) that call this 'resort' home and rummage the bins and around the huts desperate for food. I expressed concern to the two staff on site upon arrival at the fact the place looked unfinished and like an absolute construction zone. (This was over the racket of cutting, banging and construction noise that goes from 8am - 5pm) The female staff simply stated that they had now updated their accomodation information online... hmmm... no where on booking.com when this was booked was there mention of this nor did photos give indication. If you book to stay here you are booking to stay in the middle of a construction zone in rooms that appear incomplete and/or not ready for paying guests. We were a group of 13 and we had booked both the Traditional huts and the hotel room accomodation. Both were disappointing and did not live up to descriptions or amenities The only two staff we encountered were lovely but their employer/facility owner should be ashamed at advertising and accepting accomodation bookings for this unfinished venue. We met some locals on the beach who were shocked to learn we were staying at the 'resort'... they thought it was still a long way from finished and thought the only people staying were construction workers and their families/friends! Even the locals couldn't believe the owners were advertising and accepting paying guests. We were informed after arriving that if we needed anything that there would be no staff on site after 5pm... this meant we were on our own as we were the only suckers paying and staying at this 'resort'... unless you count the construction workers who were sleeping on site too.

This place is marketed like a diving resort however it’s a construction site. No signage saying it’s a hotel whatsoever only a little cafe fir the public beach and a couple hotel rooms. Could not find reception my whole stay, just had to utilize the cafe staff. Definitely not a resort. The cafe staff were accommodating but I payed far to much for this experience
