Location, cleanliness, canal

The neighbors were smokers, and they were smoking right outside my lanai on the dock. No ones fault, I just didn't like it.

I had to call property management because my wedding band fell off of the sink and went underneath of it into a space where I wasn't able to reach. I had to leave for the day to take my elderly father to an appointment and by the time I got back to the property, they had it on the counter for me. I was very appreciative of how quickly they responded and the actions they took to retrieve it for me. I used the back screened in patio quite a lot every morning, watching the fish jumping in the canal. Even though there is an extreme amount of construction going on, it's still Matlacha and very calm/peaceful and beautiful. The location was very close to my Elderly father, so it was very convenient to take care of him.

Not any fault to the property owners/management, but the house directly next door was torn down to the ground and no one was notified that this was going to take place. I made changes to my plans so that I wasn't in or around the property during this demolition.

Location, price and accommodations.

The apartment had a terrible smell. Mold/mildew and very strong Pinesol smell.

I thought that the location was absolutely perfect. It was the perfect size for my husband and I who were there for our honeymoon,it had that cozy feeling and as I said before it was perfect size for that two of us.

The only thing I’d change is the length of our stay

immaculate. I was traveling alone and just looking for someplace inexpensive to stay for the week while touring the golf coast Islands and stumbled on Fisherman’s Paradise in Matlache. I can’t say how surprised I was to find it to be so clean and comfortable. I visited the small surrounding shops, the fruit market down the road on Pine Island, As well as the most delicious taco truck! Marlene was wonderful with communication as I couldn’t figure out the front door lock, but she walked me through it until I got in.

nothing negative to say about the property. The only thing I might add is a few hooks on the walls in the bathroom and also by the kitchen sink so you can hang towels and rags to dry. There is one hug in the bathroom, but a few more would be very useful. Thanks!
