Great little spot, lovely views, cosy and the spa is worth every penny.

The only thing I could fault would be the stones on the steps leading down to the spa are a bit spiky on bare feet. Some flat pavers or a bit of astroturf to make it a bit easier on bare feet would be awesome.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had the most wonderful stay at Petite Cottage and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and romantic getaway. The cottage is absolutely charming, with a cosy Lockwood cabin feel, beautiful decor, and stunning views overlooking Queen Charlotte Sound. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything had been thoughtfully provided, including plenty of towels, spa towels, hot chocolates, coffee, crockery, and glasses. We loved the outdoor area with its sheltered roller doors and elegant privacy screens, which made it comfortable to enjoy regardless of the weather. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with decorative archways, evening lighting, and white stone pathways leading down to the spa pool. The glow-in-the-dark stones were such a lovely touch. The spa was perfect on the cool winter evenings, and the bathroom facilities exceeded our expectations, especially the amazing shower with multiple settings and great water pressure. What impressed us most was how private and secluded the cottage felt, despite being on the same property as the hosts. It truly felt like our own little retreat. The location was perfect for exploring the Marlborough Sounds and visiting family nearby. Thank you for creating such a beautiful, welcoming space. We made wonderful memories here and hope to return again soon.

Good location, clean and tidy

Beautiful views of water and mountains .Lovely quirky decor. Excellent shower. Spa pool at night was special and allowed for some stargazing. Walking distance to everything. Lots of fun and much better than a beige motel room!

Double bed not comfortable for tall people. Only one dim bedside light. Close to SH6 so some traffic noise. Small room so probably at its best in summer. As with many BnB rooms, there was only instant coffee.

Great location, village close by, magical; almost whimsical accommodation. Very Cute and comfortable.

Somewhere to put clothes.

We enjoyed the stay, views were beautiful and the room was very cosy and cute.

Awesome location

A lot of care had gone into making the property homely and the Spa bath was a real luxury- just need to use it early enough in the afternoon so that it’s sunny

The ‘Cinderella’ toilet was a faff and also very aware of the incineration smell - main road directly under the property
