BMP APARTMENT EDELWEISS PASSO DEL TONALE

Beautiful, well- equipped. Very comfortable beds, spacious, bright and super clean. Would be 10 /10 if apartment was advertised correctly and BMP staff had resolved the problem with payment.

The location is mis- leading on Booking.com. Since our return, I have looked again at the advert and other reviews and see that despite similar complaints, BMP, the management company of this property has not updated their advert. The name Edelweiss does not appear on the accommodation itself. The flat is in a large block called Residenza Gran Baita. The directions on Booking.com are wrong as they place the apartment in a car park 400 m away. This property is not ski to door as described, even in snowy conditions. It is a 400m walk away up a steep hill to the nearest ski lifts. There is no washing machine, as described in advert. There was no TV streaming service as advertised. If BMP aligned the advert with reality, this still would be a really nice apartment. We had a problem with payment ( currency was changed during a credit card transaction without our permission.) The response from BMP was abysmal. I spent 2 hours trying to get the BMP contact to understand the mistake ( which cost us money) but she refused to listen, understand or rectify fully the problem. She told me to sort it out with Booking.com. The mistake was BMP's mistake. It spoilt my evening. The local staff on site did their best to resolve the problem but BMP did not give permission for this to be fully resolved. In conclusion, I would not return because I feel that BMP is not honest about what is on offer and does not appear to value a positive customer experience.

The apartment was well equipped - good quality fittings and furniture. The sofa bed was plenty big for two and very comfortable.

The apartment is great itself. Big, modern and comfortable. There is everything you need. Paper, salt, soap etc. TV in every room. Very nice decoration and brand new. Very warm and there are a lot of quilts and pillows. The sofa bed is the most comfortable I’ve ever tried. So nothing to complain about.

When we arrived at 2 pm there was no one in the reception. It opens 3 pm but we had to wait for almost another two hours before the apartment was ready. No big problem but our kids were tired so it was little annoying. The building is very old and the reception with Wi-Fi is not nice at all. The location is ok but be aware, it’s not that close to the slopes if you have children. It’s not far away but too far to carry al the equipment. We had a car so we took the car to the slopes. No place to dry your boots.

As for the apartment itself, I have no complaints. The apartment is newly adapted, clean and relatively comfortable.

What really disturbed me is that the location published on Booking.com is very misleading. The apartment is not even close to the ski slopes, but in a very old and dilapidated building with 300 apartments (Gran Baita), which is a 10-minute walk uphill from the ski slopes, or you have to use the ski bus, which is very infrequent. There is also no wi-fi in the apartment and last but not least, the ski room has no heated lockers, which means that you have to dry your ski boots in the apartment.
