Clean, comfortable and close to city centre

Small bathroom

It was great, thank you for your kindness, the room was spacious, comfortable bed, and a breakfast not expected but well appreciated!

Clean and well furnished 1st floor room (annex to a residential home). Within walking distance to town centre. Basic breakfast groceries provided were nice.

It was late sunny afternoon when we arrived and the room interior was very hot. Had to keep the balcony door and window open late into the night to make the room comfortable for sleeping. Bathroom was the smallest I have ever used. Whilst the shower and toilet were OK to use, the washbasin was a bit of a challenge!!

The sink! It was completely ridiculous. Apparently the owner decided to convert a space over the garage to rent out. But didn’t have space. Also there’s a mildew odor in that bathroom. It wasn’t in our room so we just kept the door closed, but they should address that issue. We have stayed all over NZ for 2 weeks and some places that were half the price were twice as nice

Great location within walking distance to the downtown. Breakfast provided in the room was a pleasant surprise. Nice balcony for enjoying the evening. Our nicest stay in NZ.

The location and the view and the bed. The decor is tasteful and modern. The hosts were very friendly.

Very handy location with a short walk to the lake and town. Stunning mountain view from the room and deck. Bed was really comfortable and we appreciated the continental breakfast provided. A lot of reviews complained about the bathroom size. It is small but perfectly adequate. Have had similar sized bathrooms in the UK and Europe. Everything was spotlessly clean
