Appartamento molto grande e comodo, utilizzabile fino a 5 persone, anche se ci sono due scalinate, una appena entrati nel portone e una tra le camere da letto e la cucina. Ottimamente ristrutturato, anche i bagni sono nuovi. La cucina/soggiorno è gigantesca e dotata di una grande tv. Non ho incontrato l'host e non ho avuto bisogno di contattarlo, per cui non posso dire se disponibile o meno. Abbiamo chiesto di tenere le valigie oltre l'ora di check out e nonostante fosse un appartamento (per cui più complicato) ce lo hanno permesso.

Big apartment. Excellent location (few minutes away from Palermo Cathedral). Helpful and friendly host. A/C available in bedrooms and living room. Bathroom with jacuzzi!

Entrance in ground floor and there are stairs to the first floor (bedrooms) and second floor(kitchen and living room). Something to keep in mind in case of disabilities.

Very spacious and beautiful house, it's a mix of authentic Sicilian character with modern amenities. This was a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a genuine Sicilian experience, to live like the locals among Palermo’s colorful, energetic narrow streets, packed with shops, cafés, restaurants, and vibrant vegetable, fruit, meat, and fish markets. The house was ideally located, within walking distance of everything: Palermo Cathedral (5 minutes), Teatro Massimo (10–15 minutes), the Catacombe dei Cappuccini (20 min), the railway station (25 minutes, so taking day trips to Cefalu beach or Agrigento Greek temples by train it's a breeze), local shops, cafés, and even large grocery stores like Lidl and Conad, as well as traditional marionette (string puppets) theatres. The WiFi is excellent and it's free. Also the air conditioning was really helpful during some very hot days. There is an equipped kitchenette and a washing machine (though nothing beats hanging your laundry out on the outside-the-window lines, your clothes will feel more Italian, and it’s fun, try it! :) The check-in and check-out were simple and hassle-free. The host was fantastic, communicated really well, and regularly checked in to make sure everything was perfect during the stay. He can also help arrange transportation to and from Palermo airport.

Excellently located in Capo neighbourhood minutes away from the market and the historical centre in an authentic residential area. The property is over two floors and is spacious and immaculately clean.It is well furnished and decorated and extremely comfortable with a large living/ dining area with modern kitchen.There are two lovely bathrooms one with a modern shower and the other with a large jacuzzi bath. The master bedroom is spacious and the bed comfortable.There is a small balcony and shutters which block out noise and light effectively.We didn’t need the smaller bedroom which has two bunk beds.There is another balcony and an overhead washing line accessible by sliding large windows . It is a residential area and there is some local noise and colour which we enjoyed.There are shops nearby and a restaurant located on the corner opposite.There were suffcient ,if not plentiful,kitchen utensils and a good coffee machine.

The washing machine was broken and the hairdryer did not work.There was no dishwasher .None of these things bothered us unduly.There were no cleaning utensils eg mop brush etc. There is a narrow staircase to access the property as it is located on the first floor and a further staircase to the living/ dining area .The bedroom and bathroom are on the lower floor. There is no lift.This did not inconvenience us but might not be suitable for anybody with mobility issues.

It was super good experience to stay in this apartment which is just like a traditional maison. The kitchen has everything you need and the bath is big plus, the design of every furniture and walls are surprisingly charming and the host is really nice and responsive on the message. Just one thing is, it can be very cold inside as the floor is stone tile, you ‘d better bring your own slipper and warm pajamas. There is a heater in every place which was pretty helpful and warm but as the electric heater’s light is too strong it’s hard to sleep. I am pretty sure it’d be pretty big advantage for summer. Soundproofing is pretty good with the wooden door and you have a cute balcony from the bedroom side.

Clean, the position is right in the center.

If you rent a car, it is not so easy find a parcking place.
