Arctic Sea house

At the sea front and a peaceful place, a mix of modern and rustique. Simple but clean with all utensils you may need. Great hosts!

It’s only one toilet/shower in the house so when a bigger group is staying, it gets busy. The shower and toilet are also in the same room so with a full house this was the tricky part.

Très belle maison, moderne, avec tout le confort. Magnifique vue sur le Fjord ! Bel environnement enneigé, avec route très bien dégagée. Nous avons même pu admirer les aurores boréales6 soirs sur 7, sur place. Belle salle de bain. Garage pour protéger la voiture du froid et de la neige. Cuisine entièrement équipée, et grand salon. Grande réactivité de notre hôte qui nous a apporté son aide à plusieurs reprises.

Rien. Tout est parfait. Juste les lumières extérieures que nous aurions aimé pouvoir éteindre, pour mieux voir les aurores (mais nous n'avons pas demandé à notre hôte, car nous pouvions les voir dans un champ en face). Nous aurions aimé profité de la terrasse, mais elle était enneigée. Un sauna ou un jacuzzi serait un must ; mais franchement, tout était parfait, et nous recommandons fortement cette maison.

Best part is the location right next to a fjord with beautiful view of the Lyngen alps. From the house various day trips can be done to Tromso, hiking in Blåisvattnet etc. Also a walk to the tip of the peninsula is spectacular as the views open up to all directions! The house was cozy and good size - our kids especially loved the movie and play room downstairs with huge projection screen. Hot tub on the terrace was also very well worth the extra cost.

It was surprisingly warm inside, even if the weather outside was fresh.

Spacious House right at the Water. Ideal to reach Outdoor activities by car. Which you can park in the heated Garage, so no need for cleaning the windshield in the winter. Everything was modern and up to date, the kitchen was well equipped and the basic condiments available. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had.

This house is spectacular with amazing views! It's lovely and remote but still has a small shop and delicious coffee shop a 10 minute walk away. The house is decorated to a high standard and Iver and Elisabeth were very informative and helpful.

There wasn't anything we didn't like! But we would absolutely love it if in the future it had a hot tub or sauna on the decking that would top off an already 5* accommodation.

Perfect location if you like it a little bit remote. There's a shop and a café with very nice food 1.5 km, and you're close to all hiking spots on North Lyngen. The house is very clean, super well equipped and the hosts are very friendly and reply immediately if you have a question. Loved the terrace in particular and the querkyness. Really great stay

Absolutely nothing

We booked this beautiful one-family home for 5 days at the end of the summer season. The house's location was perfect for us, since it was just a 10 minute drive to Blåvatnet, which is the area's main attraction (a stunningly blue lake at the foot of a mountain). The main features of the house, just to name a few, are a movie theater, 2 balonies, an outdoor heated jacuzzi, 1 large terrace, which gets visited by a stout (which is a little weasel) each evening. We also saw some harbor porpoises in the distance; had an otter swim around the terrace twice and saw a total of 10 eagles, with one sitting right on the shoreline as well. If you are into nature and wildlife, then this is the perfect place for you to relax in. On the other hand, if you prefer having bustling life around you, then I recommend looking for something else. This perfect house offers you nothing but a peaceful, relaxing and quiet place to stay, with a beautiful fjord, which literally starts at your terrace, and gorgeous mountain views.

The fridge makes horrible noises at times, especially at night. Could not sleep with the bedroom door open, which was a bit of a shame. Maybe in need of maintainance?
