Surf View Resort

Really welcoming. Owner was really helpful throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble for him. Pointed us in the direction of excellent fish restaurant on beach in Welligama (Fish Point) where we had delicious red mullet cooked to order and to perfection. All staff were really friendly and helpful . Delicious breakfasts. Well equipped and clean room with view over surfing beach. Sandy beach in Ahangama with great swimming only 5 mins away. Welligama a short tuk tuk ride away.

Nothing! When you book a hotel on the beach front in Sri Lanka you know you are going to get lots of traffic but it was all part of the experience.

The locaion, the view from the roof top, and the staff. It is an ldeal accomodation for surfers（you have access to three most sought after beaches in walking distance ）The rooftop is perfect to check the surfs or just hang ouy for some beer.. Enjoyed cozy amd friendly service they offeted as well.

Great location, very clean and comfortable room, effective aircon and fan, excellent view, friendly staff. Lovely extras like a fridge, tea & coffee & kettle in the room, communal surfboard rack, and water bottles delivered daily to the room.

Had a wonderful stay, the room was amazing and staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. Super easy to check the waves and get to the surf spots. Everything is new and clean, and you're close to a bunch of great restaurants. You'll hear some noise from the main road, but for me it was worth it given how comfortable and convenient it was.

I love the view from the windows in the room and the shared common area downstairs. You can do a surf check on the Sticks, Marshmallows, and Insight surf spots. The wifi internet works well too. Each room gets its own router that you can move around if you want to work in the living room or rooftop. The bed is very comfortable and all the furniture and appliances (TV, AC) are new. The manager Jay is friendly and helpful with recommendations and making sure you are comfortable.

There is no wall or curtain separating the shower from the toilet so the toilet and bathroom floor get wet after you take a shower. Also, there is no shampoo provided - only conditioner, shower gel, lotion.
