Villa Damai Ubud

Die Vorstellung dass diese Villa einmal schön gewesen sein könnte,

Viel Schimmel, die Villa war total abgewohnt. Wir hatten ursprünglich 2 Nächte gebucht sind aber nach der ersten Nacht wieder abgereist, da die Villa über Booking gebucht war und im Voraus bezahlt gab es natürlich auch keine Erstattung, aber das wer uns egal nur noch weg. Die Betreuung Vorort und das Team waren freundlich können aber wahrscheinlich auch nichts für den Zustand diese überteuerten Villa.

Absolutely massive villa! The pictures don't do it justice. The daily house keeping by the army of cleaners was great. The pool was spotless and inviting. Everything in the villa worked as intended. Filtered water was always topped up, bins cleared and dishes washed.

Property does require some repairs to some loose skirting boards and the crumbling plasterwork, esp on the TV wall. These are not initial visible and won't impact your stay. It is not walking distance to central Ubud, altough we walked a couple of times. The roads are not that busy to be concerned of being run over. Drive into centre can be anything from 10-30 mins depending on traffic. Distance is roughly 4km.

I had a wonderful stay at Villa Damai Ubud – Budi, the manager, kindly waited to receive me even though I arrived late, which set the tone for an exceptional experience. The villa was spotless, beautifully maintained with great attention to detail, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, cleaning daily and always available to assist with any requests. The location is perfect—just a short walk to a massage spa, M Mart, and a nearby gym—yet still peaceful and quiet, surrounded by greenery. The villa itself is very spacious, with a comfortable bed, strong Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, and a fully stocked kitchen including a blender and coffee maker. It was the ideal mix of privacy, convenience, and thoughtful hospitality, and I would absolutely stay here again.
