La Pigolina Blue

The view from the room and terrace were incredible, the room was spacious, charming and comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were beautiful and fun to use and the washer/dryer was helpful especially after making use of the local beach. The hosts were also incredibly helpful and responsive, giving good information on the nearby area, helping to coordinate parking and transportation and even giving us a fun playlist of Italian music to soundtrack our stay.

There was nothing I disliked about the room. The town of positano could have had fewer stairs (haha) and reservations are often necessary for dinner at the best restaurants nearby, but the kitchen and the comfort of the room more than made up for any of that for us. :)

Excellent place. Marcello and his sister were so helpful and pleasant. Just be prepared to walk up and down hills or learn to take the bus.

Marcello has been a super host from day one .He helped us with the porter/luggage’s as soon as we arrived . The property was very clean and we had everything we needed .The coffee machine was really good .All appliances were good and in working condition. The balcony was amazing and we spent a lot of time there .There were 2 safes in the property. Marcello was kind enough to help us to order pizza one night when were tired and did not want to leave our apartment. And when the ferry service was cancelled on the day we were supposed to leave he used his connections to arrange a car transfer to Naples even though there was a national strike on the day for transportation as well as very bad weather . At the top of it , he helped us to carry all our luggage’s under heavy rain to the car on our last day. We would recommend his property to anyone who would like to visit Positano. I wish to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service we received from our host, Marcello during our recent visit to La Pigolina. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the exceptional level of communication. Every interaction was clear, concise, and incredibly helpful, making our experience seamless and enjoyable. Moreover, Marcello went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met. His dedication and commitment to providing top-notch service did not go unnoticed. The place itself was spotless, reflecting the high standards maintained by him. Marcello truly made a significant difference in our visit. We highly recommend his property.

This was an amazing apartment. Marcello and Vita have gone above and beyond expectations to make sure their guests have a wonderful stay in a beautiful location. The views were outstanding- from the terrace where you could enjoy a meal, or from the lounge and balcony. The apartment was set out to allow for maximum privacy for four adults. It was very well supplied with coffee, kitchen essentials, as well as bathroom and laundry essentials. They also provided wine, water and snacks on arrival! Beach towels were also available. The washing machine was a great size and in its own little room that could be closed off to reduce noise overnight. Bathroom was well designed for small space- maximising space available for the bedroom (King bed) and lounge room (pull out couch big enough for two adults). Marcello and Vita provided loads for information about the area and even gave us a going away gift on departure as well as helping us carry bags downstairs. What a wonderful stay.
