Minn Shijo Omiya

Clean and room was a decent size. Close to subway station but really walkable to most touristy locations.

We were given the only room on the first floor right beside the lobby. No window and right beside the alley where the garbage truck stops in the early morning hours and directly above the subway. No staff member in the lobby most of the time as the hotel uses self check in/out. No cleaning services with a five day stay. Arrived at 2:45 pm for the 3:00 pm check in and were made to wait 15 minutes to access our room. All in all - probably the worst hotel during our three weeks in Japan.

the position is really close to all the bus/train station. so is geive to you easy acces to all the city! The bathroom smelled like mold, i suggest to improved the ventilaion system!

Ideal location towards the quiet end of the main shopping street Supermarket across the road with local prices Lawson within the neighbourhood block Good restaurants as you head into town

Plates seem a bit small English instructions for the microwave and laundry machine would have been helpful Tatami mattresses were ok, but may be a bit firm to some I think the staff were overall helpful, but some could improve their English to a reception-level customer service
