HOTEL NEXUS Hakata Sanno

So many good features! This is a new modern business hotel close to the airport and they have a free shuttle (very efficient). The staff were excellent with a very friendly welcome. They also communicated via email very well. The double room was a good size for one person and in excellent condition, but may be a squeeze for two people. The bed was large and comfortable, but the pillows were a bit hard (a Japanese custom!) The bathroom was small, but functional - good pressure and towels, big bath . Lots of food options within a 5 minute walk, including an excellent supermarket. Mosburger was also good. Free coffee in the foyer. Very helpful baggage hold prior to check-in. Great value. Highly recommended.

Not enough shelves and hooks in the bathroom. I had to put my toiletries on top of the toilet. A business hotel with many international guests could have at least one English TV channel - preferably NHK World or BBC World (but not CNN). 4 pm check in is quite late (1 hour later than other hotels I stayed at). Hard lumpy pillows.

2時間、チェックアウト延ばしてもらったのですが、間に会わずにフロントに電話したところ、 15分過ぎたら宿泊料金全額支払いと言われ、フロントに2分過ぎて行ったら、女の従業員の口調、態度、があまりにもひどすぎた！2分くらい多めにみてくれてもいいのに、、全額払わされた！ 私たちも悪いが、あんな態度はホテル従業員として、良くないですね。 もっと教育してほしい。

スタッフの接客が良かった。 困った時に優しく親切に教えてらい助かりました。

シャワー温度調整が簡単に出来たら良かった。お湯＋水の調整が少し大変だった。

I chose this hotel for my last night in Fukuoka because it is close to both the airport and the train station. Since my flight left early in the morning, this made everything much easier. The free shuttle service was excellent and saved me a lot of trouble. Thank you so much.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning/heating did not work properly, but other than that everything was fine.
