Granny's Country Cottage

Peaceful and beautiful area Loved sitting on the big stoep with comfortable couches. Cottage had everything we needed My daughter loved the 3 sheep that would come visit and feeding the chickens with chicks kept her busy.

Sliding door can not be locked The shower handel loose and you can not regulate heat scortching hot or ice cold is the only two settings. At night, terrible odors came from bathroom, not sure, but I felt likevit startred after the shower was used. Had to try close drain holes and keep bathroom doors closed. I'm not sure if it's a septic tank system. No hotair balloons were seen

We loved everything about it. A home away from home. Furniture..decor..spaciousness..Did I say Furniture and decor..because wow..I felt like home..I love vintage👌🏽☺️..Definitely "Granny"...we didn't have The views gorgeous 😮.....The spiders gave us a show😄out of this world. Hot air balloon view experience on Saturday morning..that was cool. Tranquil and serene. Just what we needed for a peaceful weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We plan to return for some more tranquility..Great location too👌🏽

The calmness and serenity one feels whilst sitting on the porch. The management was friendly, the staff most helpful and the place clean, calming and restful. Thank you for allowing us a late check out. My grandkids loved spending time at your place, the Hot Air Balloons was an added bonus. We definitely will be back for another visit.

Quietness. Very good for rebooting.

The cottage is spacious, comfortable, well positioned with excellent views of the nearby river and countryside. No power cuts or water shortages.

Floors are wooden which then creak a bit. Main exit door not locking from outside.

The location was good, and restaurants nearby very good.

We could not really get much sleep because of the sewage smell, it was very bad at night as during the day we were away for activities so the smell did not bother us. The shower was not working too well and the water ran out the whole two days.
