Portsmouth Apartment *Newly refurbished *Central

Location was good. Central and close enough to walk to the beach and to the Quays. Apartment was cute and bath tub was excellent.

Wifi was poor, washing machines door was broken, only half a roll of toilet paper for four days. Bedroom was in the front of the house and street noice was quite loud at night. Couch was sat out and not comfortable.

This property was very spacious and in a very central area of Portsmouth within walking distance to most attractions in Southsea. We were pleased that the owners accommodated on site parking.

Although the property was tidy and clean the facilities were a little outdated. I would think a bigger bed would have been nicer as a small double was a bit small. The bedroom was cold so a larger radiator or heater would have been nice. It took a while to start the heating and hot water because of the out dated facilities but generally it was ok. The shower isn’t very powerful but ok. The TV doesn’t have channels but accommodates netflix. The property is next door to a bar/restaurant so can be very loud outside until around midnight. It reminded me of my university accommodation when I went to Portsmouth university which was nostalgic. Also, bring your own toilet roll!

Great sized apartment and had room to move. Everything you needed was there. Parking permits were organised before we got there so all we needed to do was park just around the corner and let ourselves in. Great location, we were able to walk to the harbour to the naval museum and also walk along the promenade

Bed could be bigger. There is room for a queen size bed which would make it more comfortable

The bed was very comfy and the kitchen had most of the things that you would need!

The sink was small so washing your hands was a little bit difficult without getting water everywhere and also if I wanted to wash my face in the sink - that would be a no go.

The location was very central, I lived on this road when I went to Uni so it was lovely that this was available. It was clean, comfy and had everything we needed. The hosts were very friendly and so helpful especially with the parking permit. I will happily stay here again!

The sink was small which resulted in water dripping on the floor at times.

Everything was good, great location to get to victorious festival

The shower head doesn’t stay in 1 place as the holder is loose, so end up getting everything wet in the bathroom

Very comfortable and clean, great location. Would stay again.

One small thing is when you try and shower, the bracket is loose and the pressure of the water on your skin makes it move and spray everywhere. Not a major issue, just means you have to hold it!
