The Bluebird Motel Maine

First of all this place had recently been in a big fire so for what they offered was amazing, they did not have a free breakfast but they are fortunate enough to have an amazing place to eat within walking distance, ( Toms) Yes it's a gas station with a restaurant in the back, it's great and has some of the best coffee I have ever had. The bed mattresses were not perfect ( a little old) but the rooms were clean. We normally do not stay in a motel but this place was honestly a nice surprise. Maybe when they start the rebuilding process they will update the rooms. Just saying Machais ME is a beautiful place, you are not far from the Canadian border, the people are so friendly and there are some amazing restaurants and gorgeous scenery !!! This Motel is a great value, with friendly staff and close to town, large grocery chain ( Hanaford) just about a mile up the road and across the street a Dollar General.

Location was good with easy access to restaurants etc

Desk clerk was snarky upon checking in. Grassy areas with picnic tables and grills are tick infested at the moment.

This is just an ok motel for one night. Nothing to like.

Too expensive, but there are not many choices in the area.

Excellent location. Great breakfast place next door.
