Studio apartments Heart of Zadar

As everyone says the location is great, walking distance from city centre and most excursions starting points, supermarkets (recommend Konsum) and a couple (pebble) beaches. In addition, it is extremely well equipped, you can tell thought was put into it, you have everything from slippers to kitchen basics. In spite of the issue I detail in the next section, the host was otherwise very helpful, friendly, available and provided a ride to the airport for us in the middle of the night with his dad which was extremely helpful and appreciated.

Until I got there I had no idea there were two different apartments to rent. When I booked I only saw one available and the pictures in my opinion are deceiving and mostly show one (the better) apartment. The second one is on the ground floor right next to the sidewalk and people walk right by you(as seen in the picture). Half the windows are covered with paper and in order for people not to see inside at night you have to pull the blinds down. We were quite disappointed to arrive and be given the ground floor studio when I thought I had booked the one will full windows and a nice view and was told by the host that I chose the cheaper one when in fact I only had an option. I think the description and photos are deceiving, he said this had happened before yet even though he said he would, to this moment he hasn't changed anything in the description and titles to say "1st floor studio" and "ground floor studio". In addition, you can't open any window so it can get a little claustrophobic. There is a ventilation system but it is not the same. It gets hot quick. He offered the first night for free and we could move for a full refund (though on booking we were no longer eligible for refund), but by that point it was very hard to find something else to fit our needs and I also had to trust that he would sort out a full refund for us. I think most people rent for one or two days, so this is not a big issue, but we stayed a full week here.

The host is amazing and checks regularly on their guests through out the stay. They are very warm and make you feel welcome and at home. When we checked out they where kind enough to give us extra help with our luggage, so we could enjoy our last hours in the town. The appartment is very neat, clean and well organized. Location is about a 5 minute walk from the Old Town, where you find all the restaurants and attractions. There is also a local market and supermarket located in about 7 minutes away. One of our most memorable experiences from Zadar is from our host.

The location was excellent,and a short walk from the ferry. The apartment,was modern bright, & exceptionally clean. The host was quick to respond to our questions & we were greeted by his father upon our arrival. He explained all our facilities & was very friendly. The treats in the fridge were also a very thoughtful gift. We enjoyed our stay & would definitely recommend Studio Apartments Heart of Zadar!

Parking, we was lucky parked up for 3 days and didn’t move the car but you could see there’s a problem if you didn’t get a spot. Very busy with cars

The owner was extremely helpful and made us feel welcomed the moment we arrived. The studio apartment was extremely clean and tidy. The kitchen was well equipped which included some of the host's family made olive oil. The location is really handy for the old time and ferries. Brilliant place.

Nothing

1) Friendly host, was waiting outside the studio when we arrived, and patiently introduced various amenities in the room to us. They also prepared welcome lagers and local cake for us. The host kindly allowed a late check out, which is very helpful for my elderly parents. 2) The studio is on the ground floor, with big windows, but the electrical shade works well to ensure light and privacy in room. 3) The studio is very clean and comfortable, even the sofa bed is cozy too. Fully functional kitchen with all basic ingredients you may need.

The power of the studio is controlled by the room key, which means you have to wait for 5 - 10 mins to get the room cooling down when return, but it is tolerable for us.

Location, proximity to free parking and Old Town, and wonderful amenities, such as water, chocolate, beer. Hospitality was exceptional! The owner’s dad met us to check us in and was so kind and helpful. It was great for two adults and our teenage daughter. Nice towels, shower, etc. Pag Island day trip to see Olive Trees was interesting. Swimming at promenade was very beautiful as well.

We didn’t love that you had to have the key in the door to use the A/C, but it was only an issue because the weather was incredibly hot. Pro-tip: park in the nearby garage if you must, and move your car at 24:00 when free spots clear out.

The host was exceptionally hospitable and welcoming, going out of their way to ensure we felt at home. The apartment was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend to family and friends.

Charming studio near the city center. Despite its central location, it was pretty quiet. The host was very helpful and flexible, making the stay smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended!
