La Petra

We stayed here for 3 days and had an amazing experience. The place was cozy, very clean, and had a beautiful view. There was also a lovely garden with lemon trees, which made the atmosphere feel even more special. The kids especially loved how friendly the dog and cat were — it really felt like home. The hosts, Luigi and Elisabetta, were incredibly kind and welcoming. They even gave us thoughtful gifts and shared great information and tips to help us enjoy our time in Italy even more. We are really thankful for their hospitality and would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended!

A wonderful stay in the hillside with a fantastic view. Luigi and elisabetta looked after us even before we arrived. Lots of useful information and help booking trips and cooking classes. Places to visit. They have a beautiful house and garden full of lemon and olive trees. The ́housé was old, spacious and the batheoom was beautifully decorated. It was just as we like when we visit italy we had a lovely non invasive italian family. We would highly recommend staying in la petra. Thank you so much for having us.

Spectacular view of ocean and village from our window on the top of the hills. Large rooms and perfectly equipped kitchen with everything you need to do full cooking. The host owns a big olive farm and lemon farm so they gave us a wonderful olive oil and daily aperitif of their homemade lemoncelo and lemonade, and liquor tasting. Their lemoncelo was the best! So we asked if we could buy a bottle of olive oil and lemoncelo for the gift to ourselves. The host contacted us daily to make sure if we need anything and we were so spoiled and they treated us like a real family. They also offered us their fresh eggs of the day from their chickens! We always like to stay little quiet area and try to avoid busy and crowded tourist area so this location was so peaceful and we wanted to stay much longer. One cute addition was their cutest dog and cat. They are so friendly and every morning and night, they come to see us and we already missed them!

The stay was amazing — the property was beautiful. The hosts greeted us with warm smiles and lots of love. The house was already stocked with the basics for cooking. The garden was spectacular, and the sense of peace we felt at La Petra was truly unbelievable.

The hosts, Luigi and Elisabetta, are very hospitable and friendly, helping to make our stay unforgettable with advice and support. The house is located high on the hill, with a stunning panorama on the bay. The terrace is surrounded by the orchard of olive and lemon trees, vines and flowers. The living room and bedroom are spacious and cosy, the kitchen and bathroom are well equipped.

We loved the experience of staying here, Luigi and Elisabetta were amazing hosts where nothing was to much trouble and we felt so welcomed as guests. The accommodation had everything we needed to relax, cook, sleep and enjoy the stay there. Mia the little dog was an added bonus who just like the hosts was friendly and the kids loved her very much. Beautiful views and lovely to stay somewhere local. Would highly recommend.

location is fabulous, the property is beautiful

The location is a paradise! Amazing views and able to do a deep dive into the local culture. Luigi and Elizabetta are outstanding hosts that supported us during the week we stayed with tips, recommendations and support from quick delivery of items from the Pharmacy to fresh wood for the fireplace and food when needed - best ever. We traveled with our small dog who became best friend with little and energetic Mia, who was always there happy and in great mood. We took the Pizza & Pasta cooking experience right there using their kitchen and Pizza oven. Unbelievably good. The location is well placed, similar distance from Napoli, Sorrento or Amalfi coast - and even a great day trip to Capri. We will be back!

Well, I do not even know where to start, there is so much great things to say about this wonderful place! We've been around a lot, and his place is really exceptional and will not be forgotten. First of all, we've never been so kindly welcomed -Luigi and his wife Elizabetha are truly incredibly kind and helpful, always attentive to our needs and ready to help. We've received great tips for restaurants, parking, activities, viewpoints, they always made sure all was ok, were always answering any questions we might have and we received fresh produces and great gifts, even our girls got very nice halloween presents, they were very touched. On tops of that the dogs Mia was always there to greet us and make the day even better - the girls absolutely loved it. The place itself is amazing, both the surroundings, the trees, the hill, the terrace and the views - but also inside, it is very spacious, spotless, very clean, very comfortable, it really has everything one might need, and the interior design is very nice, also the house itself has a touch of italian grandeur that we really loved. It's a perfect location to visit the sorrento peninsula, amalfi coast, capri and behond - and it's so great to come back to such a quiet and relaxing place. Also, whoever can drive around Naples can certainly come up the hill! When we come back to the area we'll make sure to be back at La Petra, we could not do without.
