The View - Tromsø City Center

The view was spectacular spacious rooms, cozy apartment

Everything was up to a high standard

The balcony and windows were situated wonderfully for viewing of the night sky. It was also central and close to town.

The library (directly in front of the balcony) did not turn its bright lights off all night which dulled the appearance of the northern lights. (Not the property’s fault).

The stairs at the end of a long trip away 😂

"The View" is definitely the attraction, but a warning that the balcony access is through one of the bedrooms not a common area. Nice kitchen and laundry facilities Convenient location

The blinds did darken the bedrooms enough during the midnight sun. Bring sleep masks!

WE got our own food... the location was more or less in the centre of town ... easy access. The sitting area and kitchen area was very comfortable and allowed us to relax. We enjoyed our stay.

The bedrooms were adequate but could have done with a picture on the wall.. everything white ... a bit cold and clinical ... at first we found depressing. White blinds didn't help my son to sleep ... could have done with a deep blue or similar.

Location close to everything

The apartment is very central located so you could walk to the city center in a couple of minutes. Easy self check in at any hour of the day with all the info sent to you in a message with pictures as well. If you don’t want to take a taxi from or to the airport, the local bus (26,40) stations are 3 minutes away. It is well heated and the kitchen is fully equipped if you want to prepare a meal and there is a big supermarket just 2 minutes away. Comfortable beds for a good night sleep but it could use better blinds if you don’t want to wake up from the daylight. Not so well cleaned with dust on shelves but we didn’t mind that much. We also didn’t mind climbing up and down the inner stairs as it is on the third floor without an elevator. It’s just a bit tiresome on your first day with the suitcase. The only downside for me was the terrace which was not accessible due to a meter of snow accumulated on it, with the door opening towards outside! I was reassured before arrival that we could access the terrace but that did not happen.
