The room was clean and comfortable. The food and ales were good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for our short visit to the area

Only small gripe was the family room we were given had a double bed that was half under another bunk bed…so not ideal

clean, quiet, bed was comfortable, everything seemed recently renovated. The person who checked us in was welcoming. Pub downstairs was great for a last drink.

Excellent accommodation. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Ensuite was a great size. Parking was easy and very close in the car park. Tea and coffee in your room. Kitchen was clean washing machine and dryer.

The rooms were clean and a good size (4 bunks in our room) with a well appointed bathroom. Drinks in the bar below the room were reasonably priced and staff were friendly. Parking is street parking and there were no issues finding a space outside the hotel. The location is relatively quiet and limited in activities within walking distance. Check in was easy and free wifi was available throughout the hotel. We were on a road trip break across North Wales and the location was ideal as the launch point for Day 2 of our journey.

The mattresses on the beds were extremely firm and would benefit from a topper. Although a fan was provided in the room, the room did become very hot. The layout of the bunk beds meant that air flow was not ideal. The rooms are above a busy bar and we chose to keep the window shut as otherwise it was a little noisy, the bar does shut at 11pm, so noise did reduce after that. There was a kettle in the room and tea bags, however there was no coffee or milk provided. The room would have benefit from a seating area and maybe TV.

Location easy to find. Plenty of street parking for free but is a busy road. Absolutely lovely, everyone was really friendly & a very safe environment, 1 girl dropped a bag that remained out side over night on the floor was still intact. Another girl forgot to wind her window up on car & everything was still inside. 2 local shops & chippy & kebab shop over road. Would definitely stay again

Only complaint is some of the rooms didn't have coffee sachet & 1 had no toilet paper. But the others had plenty to make do.

Went above and beyond to cater for our dietary needs.
