Wye Valley Cabin

Perfect secluded cabin with amazing views! Hot tub was spot on ! Log burner was ace with plenty of log’s supplied. Lovely hot shower too ! Enjoyed everything,could have stayed longer so we shall return. Cheers Gary

Location was very secluded, but pretty easy to access and parking next to the cabin. Cabin was clean with pretty much everything you need for a short break. No oven but there is a hob, toaster and microwave. Everything is clean and modern. There is hand soap, towels, slippers, robes, tea towels, fairy liquid, dish sponge, tea, coffee, sugar, some sachets of milk, a small fridge, glasses, plates, cutlery etc. There is an electric heater there if you didn't want to use the wood burner. There is plenty of wood if you do want to use the wood burner and there was a newspaper there to help us get the fire started too. If you want it made even easier, take some fire lighters with you. Hot tub was great and the views from the tub/cabin are just fantastic. Only noise you hear is the birds and the odd sheep. It is a lovely couples getaway, or if you just wanted to get away from everything and have some time to yourself. We were very warm when we used the wood burner even though it was cold outside.

Gary and Marisa were wonderful hosts, they were on hand for anything if we needed it but otherwise left us to ourselves in total privacy. The hot tub was amazing and ready to use as soon as we arrived. Despite being below zero we were super cozy, either in the hot tub or curled up by the wood burner. The location is incredible, with fantastic views and you feel very secluded. It really was a lovely weekend.

It took me quite a while to search for my ideal break away and i kept coming back to Wye Valley Cabin. It had everything i was looking for, cosy, very quiet, fairly remote, mountain views and a place to chill and switch off. I highly recommend and i will definitely be going back. Gary the host was very helpful and even lit the log burner for when i arrived as i was getting there late. Thank you once again for an amazing break in your beautiful cabin.

Absolutely beautiful location, overlooking the valley. Wonderfully secluded and private but was easy to get to local tourist spots for a day trip. The cabin was spotlessly clean with two laminated sheets with all the information we would need for our stay. A tiny kitchen that still manages to be more than sufficient for quick meals and bacon sarnies. The hot tub was amazing, the bed extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and contained a lovely shower. Absolutely loved the cosy nook in the corner with the wood burner which heated the cabin quickly. We were expecting not to use the nook as it looked small in the pictures, but it was, in fact, perfect.

There is absolutely nothing to not like about this wonderful place!
