DJs Beach Resort

facilities were great - the room, bathroom, water pressure, comfortable bed. the location is off the beaten path and offers a garden, beach access, hammocks. fresh eggs from the chickens. very quiet and relaxing stay. Santiago public beach is a tricycle/moto drive away. David and Juvy are very welcoming and nice, they shared birthday cake and homemade kimchi with us. if you want dinner, David has recommendations and you can always pop into town (Consuelo) to get something for takeaway.

I stayed at DJ's Beach Resort with my partner for only three nights, but it felt like at least a week, all thanks to David, our host. David picked us up at the port in the morning as we arrived (9:45 AM), and we could immediately check into our room. The room is so well-designed: very bright, and oh god, we loved the shower! You shower among banana trees and other plants, feeling like you're in an oasis. The room was also very clean, and we were provided with both bath and beach towels. Girls, note that there is no hairdryer in the room, which was never a problem for me as hair dries so quickly here. But I'm sure if you ask David for one, he would find it. Another huge advantage was that David supplied us with a scooter (you need one to travel around). He also gave us amazing tips on where to eat and what to do. We managed to do so much and didn't forget to relax. The breakfast was great - my partner and I were full until the evening. We were also able to find different drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) in the fridge in a common area. A small tip from us: book via AirBnb to get the breakfast for free. Our last day was a bit chaotic, as we almost missed the last ferry from the island, but David rescued us again! Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely come back again. David, thank you for everything! Our experience on the Camotes Islands wouldn't have been the same without you.

Very kind owner, who picked us up from the port and also rented scooters to us. We received a lot of recommendations, including tide times, secret spots to visit etc. The room is surrounded by beautiful nature, beach and friendly animals. Definitely would recommend!

We had a superb experience staying at DJ's. David and Juvy are the best hosts ever, like ever. A great pleasure to have had their acquaintance. We felt more like part of a family. The place boasts a secluded beach with calm waters. Lovely spot to spend the day and just chill. We couldn't get enough of that DJ breakfast. Delicious! Got me through the day til dinner time no problem. And that barako coffee, wow. We loved DJ's so much we extended our stay. This place is HIGHLY recommended!

I understand they're working on a dinner menu. This will help a lot.

The surrounds, gardens, and beach down the front. Also surrounded by animals which was cool. Host is super accomodating in every aspect.

Lovely cottage that feels like your own private jungle oasis. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the hosts are warm and welcoming. The room is very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. You can walk right down to the beach and enjoy a private sunset! Couldn't ask for more.

DJs Resort is an amazing place to stay. You feel there like home. David and Juvy are super nice and friendly. David picked us up from the port, gave many advise on what to do/ where to eat on the island and was a great company during morning chillouts at the breakfast :). All Resort is super nice and open with access to privat beach and cool chillout area. Cute little houses with hammocks and amazing outside bathrooms. Our beach house lookd much better in real life than on the pics. :) Totally recommend the place for those who want to reset, slow down and relax in nature and peaceful atmosphere!
