These were generous hosts who had thoughtfully provided many extras. Really as good as bed and breakfast with eggs, butter, milk, honey and other condiments. The outdoor seating allowed for getting shade or sun throughout the day and the views were lovely. The hosts were easily available and very responsive to any requests. Beach close by and many beautiful places to visit by car or walking.

Towels seemed to refuse to dry us even after washing them. Could do with a roasting pan for the oven so can cook a chicken for instance, we could only find a small oven proof dish. Shower very low pressure but adequate. Small stuff though in a place otherwise generously provisioned

Very clean and Tidy, hosts were great and organised an early check in for us. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds. Bathrooms were clean and Tidy

The hosts were amazing! Fresh farm eggs were a lovely surprise, along with chocolates, tea, coffee and milk. Lovely, peaceful setting with great views. Comfy beds and a spacious house. Would stay there again.

A microwave and a small frying pan would have been good.

Stuarts was a great property for my family of four. The location was perfect for exploring the beaches and tracks around Whangarei Heads. The surround views of McLeod Bay, Mount Aubrey and Mount Manaia from the house was stunning. Julie and Andrew were attentive and gracious hosts. We very much appreciated the use of your place. This is an wonderful cottage, perfect for us! Set in a gorgeous bay with amazing ocean views and views of the mountains too. Lovely extras like tea, coffee, milk, oil, salt and pepper, and fresh eggs. A great base to explore Whangarei Heads from and not too far from Whangarei. The hosts were very helpful to me when I thought I had misplaced my prescription sunglasses after we had left, I was very grateful to them.

We might have liked a TV in the bedroom, apart from that it was perfect!!

Lovely little cottage, amazing location. Arrived to chocolates and fresh eggs for us which was a real treat after a night out hiking. Walk across the road and you’re right at the beach. House was lovely and clean, beds were so comfortable. Gorgeous views from deck that’s a perfect spot to soak in the view. Excellent communication from hosts.
