The property was nicely presented and on arrival the owner/landlord was very pleasant.

The restaurant’s (next door) back door connected to back wall of room and from when we returned to room (around 9pm) until midnight it was constantly banging shut. When we woke up, the was no electrics working in room, the toilet had somehow filled to the rim, the sink wouldn’t empty and sewage had come up through the shower basin. It stunk the room out meaning we couldn’t use any of the bathroom facilities so had to leave the room straight away. We had to leave without washing, using the toilet or anything. The whole thing was very unpleasant

I really liked this cosy room. Great decor , ground floor , so easy access. Really close to shops & cafe. Smelt of lovely candles. Great communication with host. Helpful. I didn’t want to leave. Very relaxing stay.

No free parking , but I dropped my stuff off and used a car park a bit round the corner.

constant rattling/banging of door next to room window between 8 - 10.30pm on 1st night then again although not as often on 3rd night. Upon arrival noticed a couple short and curlys among some dust on the toilet roll holder unit😕 then no soap in hand soap dispenser. I thought it was odd that women's shampoo(for coloured hair) was left in the shower then I found some letters/mail addressed to a female between the blanket and duvet at the foot of the bed leading me to believe the sheets had not been changed and question whether or not anything had been cleaned!?

Absolutely brilliant little spot on a quiet side road but very close to supermarkets and amenities. Couldn't have felt more cosy, comfy and luxurious, and we felt very welcome. Lots of special touches, including lovely cups & saucers and lots of toiletries to choose from. Great towels and bedding. A perfect stay.

Bed was uncomfy with springs broken in it 1 towell between the 2 of us Room was cold And also who ever was above was noisy and kept us up all night

Convenient location for local bars and pubs. Room was cosy and bed was comfortable.

Car park was rammed, not accessible. Shared bathroom was a bit odd, lots of other peoples clutter and needed some TLC. Room TV didn’t have terrestrial tv (it was also very small) and tv dongle did not work correctly. Fridge was tiny, would have been helpful if it was a little bigger. Seemed expensive for a shared bathroom property.
