Cozy Bungalow in Madison Heights

The house was easy to find, great parking options and nearby many great locations

The house had an overwhelming smell of smoke in the common areas. It made most of us nauseous since we aren’t smokers or around smokers often, so it made the house unpleasant to stay at while we weren’t sleeping. The bathroom had smoke drippings in the fan, and the air quality outside was just as bad so we couldn’t open the windows.

Close to everything we wanted to do in Detroit. Enough room for our group. Home was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Would recommend and plan on staying there again next time we visit Detroit area.

The only challenge was sharing one bathroom with 6 people. Everything else was great!

It was close to Beaumont Hospital. The house was super clean, and bed was comfortable. Nice to have coffee machine.

We are elderly and would have appreciated a grab bar to hold on to while showering. Even younger people appreciate that. The towel bar malfunctioned. The difference in height of kitchen and living room was a trip hazard. The air was very dry. (Is there a humidifier?). Some confusion about entering instructions—no reference to a check mark on right to press before entering PIN number and an arrow on the left to press to unlock the door. We did appreciate the owner’s being able to pick up her phone when we called. We’re sorry for not locking the door when we left at 6 am on Dec. 5—there didn’t seem to be any instructions about what to do upon our leaving. Unfortunately, our daughter took sick so we didn’t use the other bedrooms. For that reason, we would not recommend this property for only 1 couple.

Great restaurant close by, had excellent service & fast. Good location related to our wedding venue.

Better TV service. List of things to do in the area. Instruction on location of household items such as garbage bags. Found outside cans all full of garbage

It was in a nice neighborhood. The house was very clean. The beds were not hard. The kitchen was a nice size. 3 rooms were nice each had a closet. The sheets were super soft.

Love that the house smelled clean. But the cleaner smell was a bit over powering and was still strong when we returned at midnight. But very happy it was a very clean home. The pillows were like pancakes. I would bring your own if you like your head off the bed.

Comfort and it made us feel at home.

The bins were full which attracted a lot of flies. We ended up putting it out when we noticed the neighbours had put theirs out during the second week.
