Glamping at South Lytchett Manor

The lodge we had smelt on arrival had to have doors and windows open to clear but every time we went out and came back the smell was there very unpleasant staff said we couldn’t be moved as they were fully booked.

Great location, grand entrance gate!!! All staff very helpful and knowledgeable, and friendly.

On of the best camp sites we’ve stayed on. The Yurt itself was spotless and had everything and more from a glamping pod. The toilet and shower block was 2 minutes away and was very clean and warm. Pastries for breakfast in the cafe was a nice touch. We had pizza from a little van that pulled up and they swap the food a few times a week. The location couldn’t be better.

We didn’t sleep particularly well as it’s very close to a main road and we could hear traffic all night. We might just be light sleepers though.

We stayed in a camping pod. It was wonderfully clean and in good condition. The staff was very kind and helpful. The loos were also very clean. The coffee in the cafe was excellent. We could see the playground from the pod. The dog paddock was large. The other guests were polite and considerate.

There was no running water in the pod. I couldn't work the Nespresso machine.

Everything was fantastic from start to finish. The yurt was better than we could have ever imagined. Every member of staff we met was so incredibly helpful and friendly. The site was beautifully maintained and all the toilet blocks were spotless. We only left this morning and already hoping to book again for next year.
