None really, Beds are somewhat small but we slept great!

Like many older “character” properties there are some compromises. For example plumbing and bathroom weren’t up to modern standards however this is a trade off one accepts. Modern hotels tend to be soulless but Chateau Tivoli has soul in spades.

The spacious and beautiful rooms, dining room, and parlor. Complementary wine and cheese at four every day. Interesting and tasty breakfast. We could kitchen fridge and plates and glasses.

Everything was OK..

Very elegant, Victorian building. Feels very historical. Lovely preservation of Victorian style. The breakfast was wonderfully delicious! The bed was very comfortable and we slept well (despite the height).

The interior lighting in the bedroom is a bit dim. The windows are single-paned and let in the daytime street noise. The bathroom is very limited in counter space and has no place for towel storage. Only one location in room for outlets.

The place is beautiful and the location by the park of the Painted Ladies is lovely. The breakfasts are memorable as is the daily happy hour. Being able to lounge in the living room to the sound of soft classical music or jazz is delightful. This is my favorite place to stay in San Francisco.

There were no shade curtains in my room.

Beautiful, comfortable, and well-located old Victorian home with fantastic staff. Large common area with plenty of room to sit, and wine and cheese in late afternoon.

My only relatively minor concern was that my room shared a bathroom.
