Boon petit déjeuner, l’hôte a avancé l’heure pour nous permettre d’être à l’heure au bus.

accueil un peu froid, chambre petite alors que des chambres au même prix et plus grande étaient libres….un « surclassement » aurait été apprécié vu l’affluence mais bon, on avait choisi la plus petite sur booking alors on a eu la plus petite et pas vraiment le temps ni l’envie de négocier, bref pas vraiment soucieux de la satisfaction du client.

The place is great, in the midst of the medina with nice rooftop view and place to relax, the breakfast was great and the room felt more like home than a hotel.

I really enjoyed my time at Yamanda the room is comfortable and location is just excellent but the best part is the stuff specially Mohamed.

El trato familiar y cercano. Me sentí como en casa. El personal te ayuda en todo lo que puede. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas.

It’s a very beautiful building in all senses. Its architecture and decor are very Moroccan. The room they gave us was beautiful, very comfortable, and with a ceiling that looked like a work of art.

All was perfect.

This riad is truly a gem. I found the photos to be an accurate representation of the property and even more beautiful in person. Their terrace has the best views of the city. Thank you to both Mohammeds who welcomed me to the riad and were always available to text for anything I needed. Mohammed kindly exchanged USD to dirham for me when my Discover cards were not accepted anywhere, made sure I had a to go breakfast packed for the day trip to Chefchaoen and that I had a reliable taxi to and from FES airport with a 5:30am pickup when I left. I felt their hospitality and the responsibility they have for their guests when they gave me a late breakfast upon arrival from the airport, an umbrella for the rain, welcomed us to join watching the soccer match with them and one late evening asked if I was sure where I was going since I was walking alone. I am a solo traveler but found so many new friends among the guests; I recommend you say hello to whoever you see in the mornings during breakfast. Do not hesitate to book here, book a tour of the Medina, book the day trip to chefchaoen, visit the Sbil gardens on a slower day, make sure you try the Moroccan salad at NAGMA WA TAY (best salad I have ever had ANYWHERE) (tagine and harira soup there was also good) the homemade pastillas at Riad Diwan. I loved the camel burger at Cinema Cafe and found many tourists enjoy their breakfast there—- all local to this riad! Shukran for the welcome and hospitality in Fes!

The stairs are in good condition but there aren’t hand rails or banisters in this traditional riad so you must be careful descending the stairs. This might be difficult for children, mobility impaired or the elderly.

L’accueil de Mohamed est vraiment au top ! Le riad est vraiment bien placé. Pour les voyageuses solo, il prend soin de s’assurer que vous êtes bien rentrées saines et sauves. Le lit est très confortable et la chambre est bien propre. Vous pouvez même avoir droit à un petit-déjeuner à emporter si vous avez une excursion très tôt le matin.
