Mamdo Bush House

Vilket fantastiskt hus! Verkar helt nytt byggt, känns jätte fräscht. Alla utrymmen var fantastiska- sovrummen, badrummen med en utomhusdusch, köket, vardagsrummet, allt. Men det absolut enastående var verandan där djur vandrar fritt i området och du kan mata dem! (Köp mycket djurpellets i den lokala butiken). Vi fick dagliga besök av antiloper, warthogs, giraff (!), zebra mm. Vi var helt häppna och ville stanna där minst en vecka till. Området är tyst och alla boende respekterar föreskrifterna. Tack för ett fantastiskt vistelse!

The WILDLIFE! Spacious comfy, secure house. Comfy beds. Loved feeding the bushbabies and fruitbats- bananas at night. Daytime visitors: Male and female herd of Kudu's and Zebras both eating from your hand. (Only when it was safe to do so) Lots of birds, antelope, giraffes(early morning), warthogs, etc. Sunset walks by the crocodile river, spotting elephants, crocodiles leopard, wildebeest, hippos, and various birds. Oh, the pool is in the sun all day, so we did use it when the temp hit 34 degrees (still cool for Marloth Park-. I heard it can get to 50deg!)

Resident bushbaby's can be noisy at night, and you can hear them scurreling on the roof at night. That is how close to nature you get! Quite cute listening to them, but light sleepers might not appreciate it as much. The house have both indoor and outdoor showers- indoor showers temperature settings temperamental but outdoors is perfect- luckily it was warm when we stayed so we could use outdoors. I'm sure it's an easy fix and I'm sure the owners will sort it.

Well equipped for a week in the bush. Modern facilities in a new build. Shining stars were the property managers though who went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Nils even took on helping us sort out a problem with our hire car which did not certainly fall within the remit of his responsibilities.

Awesome recently built house, very modern yet still in style of the bush. Well laid out house, close to Kruger park ( 20min) and enough to see and do in Marloth. Plenty of animals daily.
