My stay at St Andrews lake was so nice, so beautiful and peaceful

Would of been great if you can bring your dog

Crystal clear water outside it was like being in the mediterranean

The property had some lovely views, and the staff were helpful when we had no hot water — they sorted it out quickly, which we appreciated.

The property was generally okay, but there were a few issues that made the stay less comfortable. There were spider webs in the corners, and there wasn’t a TV in the bedroom. The TV in the living room also had a very limited viewing angle. Parking was quite inconvenient — you have to walk about five minutes along a muddy path each time you want to get to the cabin. The access road to the site is also full of potholes. The electrical box looks very outdated; the last inspection sticker said the next test was due in February 2024, and it’s now November 2025. There was no discount offered for onsite facilities, and the hot tub was an additional £46 for roughly an hour’s use, which felt overpriced for something we thought was included within the cost of the stay.

The cabin was fabulous! the lake and surrounding area is really pretty and relaxing. The private hot tub was really great BBQ and fire pit too. Highly recommend.

I liked everything, the house was clean and equipped with all the utensils.

Stunning location! Insane views, peace and tranquility. Paddle boarding every day! BBQ's and Woodfire hot tub in the evenings. Super comfy bed. Highly recommend Point Lodge, we definitely had the best location and outdoor facilities compared to the others lodges.

It would be really handy if guests were issued something to hang in the car or place on the dash board so you don't get constantly questioned on the way in and out. I especially didn't like that we had to come home 😭

We had a great time staying at Quarry lodge . Very cosy and beautiful with all the amenities needed plus hot tub and a barbecue outside.The most amazing thing is that your lodge is on the actual lake !
