The room upstairs is uncomfortable

The room with the warm large jacuzzi was brilliant. The breakfast and cakes prepared by chef Andreas were delicious. Staff were literally available to help 24 hours. We arrived at 1 am and received instructions where to park.

The parking was not easy to access. 100 meters away from the hotel and not easy to find it.

I stayed with a friend in the La Rosa room. It was very clean, furniture is made of reused old planks and really looks great. The sauna is a nice touch, you can relax after a day of skiing. The breakfast is free and delicious. The sweets are done by chef Andrea who is a real nice guy. He can also cook dinner even though I never tried it. There is a public parking 100m up the road, where we left the car since there is no parking at the property. You can stop at the house to drop your and then move the car. We kept our skis in the car since it was easier than carrying them back to the house. The parking is right beside the piste and in the morning we just walk to the car, put on the skis and slide down to the lift, in the evening slide down the piste and just drop our stuff in the car, no carrying required. There is nothing in 15 minutes walking distance, the Valtourence center is dow the road but tehre is no sidewalk and it is not really pleasant to walk there. There is however a really nice alley by the side of the river and if you walk down to the lift and turn left you can walk it and end at the bars and diners in the center. Or you can use your car of course.

Water in the shower is a bit temperamental, if anyone from the other rooms takes a shower at the same time as you it gets cold.

Issue #1: No parking at the property The guests have no access to a parking spot next to the property throughout their stay. There's one hard-to-access parking spot in front of the property which the guests are told upon arrival to use only when they arrive/depart and have to unload/load the luggage. That parking spot is used throughout the day by car of the breakfast/dinner cook. The parking spot is hard to access because it is located right next to the main road and there are some roadside protection elements preventing easy access. Therefore, if you are a fine driver and you have a relatively small car (e.g., I drove a rent Jeep Renegate), you will struggle to park you car next to the cook's car. If you're into skiing, have children and shuttle to the cable car twice a day, you definitely need access to a private parking spot next to the property/room to 1/ load/unload stuff (e.g., boots) and 2/ feel safe by avoiding to walk 150m on the roadside of the main road to the public parking nearby. There were days when the visibility was very limited due to the heavy snow and fog and it made dangerous the short 150m walk on the main road from the public parking to the property, especially if you have children. When you book the property and there is no warning there's no private parking in the description alongside all the overselling attributes of "charming / comfortable / luxurious / sweet / savor". They purposely deceive the unsuspecting prospective customer by advertising "Free parking" in the "Most popular facilities" and "Property highlights" sections of the booking.com page dedicated to the property. That's is a gross misrepresentation of the reality. Issue #2: The property is located 3m-4m away from the main road. Therefore, you'll hear the noise of the cars and inhale polluted air when there's heavy traffic.

Very Basic, but very good breakfast. Chef Andrea îs a nice person. Good position for going în and out of slopes.

Misleading description of the property. Booked a room with fireplace, guaranteed parking place, soundproof isolation... well în reality is NO TO ALL. Fireplace out of order for 6 months! Parking is 100m away, public parking very busy during the day. În the room you can hear every step of the guests from the above apartament. In 7 days not eaven once bed sheets were change.
