Prairie Rose Inn

This is a renovation done with love. The staff were so welcoming. The bar had a great old fashioned. It was fun to see the staff excited about their little hotel.

Too much light came in under the door from the hall.

Unique and comfortable rooms, wonderful food options on-site.

Awesome hotel/b&b. The people working were so friendly and inviting and the owner shared with me his plans for the future of the establishment.

Loved the atmosphere! Everything about my stay was fantastic. The room and rest of the inn were clean and spacious. And the food in the grill was excellent!

The Prairie Rose is a hidden gem. Every room is unique and comfortable. The on-site restaurant and bar is very nice for the weary traveler.

Everything was great. Easy check-in, clean room, comfortable bed, everything in good condition. Loved it.

WINDOW DID NOT LOCK!! That is unacceptable. Additionally, we did not realize the bar was attached to the inn (you use the same entrance and almost walk thru the bar to get to room). We arrived around 11pm after a long day of driving eager to get into bed and sleep before another full day on the road. We were in bed by 11:15, but THE CACKLING, LAUGHING, AND TAKING FROM THE BAR KEPT US UP UNTIL MIDNIGHT. While everything else was great (perhaps a favorite bed, bedding, and pillow combo), I couldn't recommend staying here due to the bar noise and concern about the unlocked windows keeping us up. If they fix the window and put in a wall with a door to the two hallways with rooms to deaden the noise, I would stay here all the time when driving through.
