Tunjung guest house lovina beach

I loved the accommodation; it was very clean, tidy, and comfortable. Komang was very attentive and friendly.

There were dogs from neighboring houses that made entering and exiting the property a little scary. I understand it's not up to the guest house, but it really scared me to walk through there.

breakfast, very friendly and helped me to get medicine. gave me a complimentary dinner and additional rice.

I would expect small soap to be provided for bathing and adjusting the shower is difficult.

It was in a quiet area. A local neighborhood from lovina beach. I loved it

Very good place, worth the price. The only negative aspect is that hot water is not always available. But really, everything else is perfect. We only lacked hot water once.

The warm hospitality of the host, reasonable prices on bike rental and laundry, breakfast was delicious. For the price this place is a killer deal, its very clean, and the photos dont do it justice. I really liked the place, and it was easy to like due to many aspects of the host's warm personality, but It left both of us feeling like "meh" at the end.

Entering our room (while we were in it) to micromanage water use, hot water being shut off mid shower (not sure if that's a coincidence or not), and entering our room when we were out without our permission (which I do recognise as a common thing in Indonesia, not that it is any less uncomfortable. Wifi wasn't great but worked fine for light usage, the place is far away from Lovina. I had a whole long review to write about Tunjung but the point is: This place doesn't feel private, it feels like living with your parents (there are good sides to that too). Depends on what type of stay you want I guess. The host's behaviour as mentioned felt very disrespectful and ruined what would otherwise have been a lovely stay. It would have otherwise been a 10 star review. Lots of mosquitos, Air con not 100% there. Tip: Visit Tanda Italian nearby for some killer pizza.
