This was a perfect rural location.

As a first stop on our tour of this area it was perfect- wish we could have spent longer!

What a lovely place to spend the night. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay a good one. It was good to meet our host, Fred, who was very welcoming. We were thrilled to be greeted in the morning by two lovely cows looking through the window. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again if we were in the area. Thank you!

Lovely and clean, quiet location, Marli and Fred excellent hosts, couldn’t do enough for us. Nice surprise on arrival of home made Irish wheaten bread and raspberry jam, absolutely delicious.

Nothing to dislike.

We stayed here as base for a few nights ahead of our wedding in Castle Leslie and was a lovely spacious place to get our things in order ahead of our big day. The hosts were so lovely and accommodating. They left us fresh soda bread with home made jam along with flavoured fizzy water on arrival. The cottage was bigger than it looks online and has everything you could need. The kitchen was so well equipped, clean with the cottage nicely furnished - we could have stayed longer! They even left us a lovely wedding card for us on our arrival which we thought was such a lovely thoughtful touch. In the madness of the wedding planning I happened to leave a dress (not the wedding dress thank god) and a leather jacket in the wardrobe, which they kindly kept safe and packaged up ready to be posted back to us. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay - thank you! They are the nicest people and so welcoming. P.S. We really enjoyed saying hello to the cows every morning. :-)

Minor gripe , tv reception poor but it wasn’t an issue tbh

It was a cosy little cottage

It was difficult to find as we came down the narrow lanes so wasn’t easy to spot the number on the wall. Very little phone signal but managed to get directions from the owner. Received my message with door code the following day, luckily the owner turned up just after us. Kitchen was that well kitted out in regards to utensils. There were lots of flys in the cottage but I guess understandable as the cottage is on a farm. A fly light would be useful.
