Lobby hat gestunken, sehr hellhörig

Schöner Balkon, Sauberkeit, gute Lage abseits des Verkehrs und dennoch nur ca. 15 Min. (zu Fuß) vom Zentrum entfernt. Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber.

Camere molto spaziose

La posizione piuttosto defilata rispetto al centro, l'host ci ha detto che dovevamo rientrare alle 10 perché altrimenti avrebbe chiuso la porta (durante la Perahera), gli abbiamo chiesto le lenzuola e non ci sono state fornite, colazione non pervenuta perché lo chef non c'era...letto comodo ma faceva freddo e c'erano delle piccole zanzare

The location is perfect !! And when it comes to the bedroom everything was clean and practical, the view was beautiful. We booked an other night to fell at home at the end of our trip, so see you soon !

Super friendly guys trying to do their best. Delicious breakfast. Khan’s biryani was great. A hotel far enough from the chaos of the city, but not too far, so you can reach the city easily. The room was just like in the picture. For this price perfect! When I said that I would be back in the middle of the night after the Kandy festival, the stuff found a way to let me inside the house.

Well located hotel with a fantastic view of the Kandy valley. Super spacious room with a comfy bed, a hot shower, and floor to ceiling balcony windows. Amenable staff. Wi-Fi worked although quite weakly. Was brought actual food for breakfast, not just egg hoppers & bananas like in most places. The picture is from the view just downhill at night.

First night, I left the balcony door slightly ajar to get more air in. While I was sleeping, a monkey let itself in and feasted on my belongings. I feel like there should be a sign warning guests of this. Also, i made friends with the service staff but they eventually started feeling a bit too comfortable walking into my room without even knocking - I usually don't mind it much but one time I was taking a shower and the dude saw me butt nakey 🤭 Also, when I was checking in, they asked if I wanted breakfast, I said sure and asked how much, they said 1000. Great. Checking out, they wanted me to pay 2500 for the 2 days. Like I didn't hear them say 1250 when I asked but only heard the 1000 bit. Come on guys. I would have been perfectly fine to pay 1250, it was really awesome food for the money, if you had just said it in the beginning, but to risk karma offense for such a small amount of money makes zero sense.

Stairs are difficult to climb. No Wi-Fi available. No complimentary water bottles in the room. Additional Charges for water bottles (they charged LKR 200 for a bottle that costs LKR 100). Only a small corner of the lake is visible. There was no iron. Need to call to request hot water.
