Villa Bagus Ubud

We had a great stay! The staff were very kind and helpful. The place was spacious, clean, and the internet worked well. It’s in a quiet area, close to rice fields and local warungs (restaurants) — perfect for slow living. Beautiful surroundings and peaceful vibes. Highly recommend!

The pool could have been kept cleaner.

Die Villa war ausserordentlich sauber und hatte eine gute Lage. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und war bei Bedarf jeder Zeit kontakbereit und hilfsbereit. Die Villa ist elegant eingerichtet und besitzt besonders schöne Duschen und einen grossen Pool.

The location was very close to Ubud centre which was helpful. The villa itself is very nice for the price. It would have been amazing 5-10 years ago The host did mention there was construction when I booked, but failed to say that it was multiple large buildings on both sides of the property

The photos to show the property are obviously years old. This villa is surrounded by multi story buildings under construction and there are zero views of any trees or rice fields like the pictures suggest. I was lucky that I didnt spend much time at the villa during the day because i was working, but yeah it you wanted to book this villa for laying by the pool, i wouldnt.

It is very clean, roomy, and the property manager is very responsive and helpful. It's about a .75 kilometer walk to get to a main street

Furnishings are sparse, especially in the kitchen and bathrooms. The villa is somewhat bare bones. The bathrooms are very basic.

We stayed for a week and then extended to two weeks. It was perfectly set down a quiet road but also close to Ubud centre. Swimming pool was nice for the family to play in.

There needed to be better sofas for relaxing in, but otherwise there was plenty of space and it was comfortable.
