Vista Mare Rooms

The photos don’t do this apartment justice, it was actually a bit bigger than we expected. The bathroom and shower were spotless, new and spacious. The balcony was also larger than we expected with breathtaking views over the little port. There is also use of a lovely clean shared kitchen with complimentary tea and coffee, and the use of an outdoor sink to handwash and a few lines to hang things to dry in the sun. The host was very helpful and answered every question immediately and with many tips. His recommendations were spot on. We had some of the best food that we had here travelling around Sicily! The breakfast included was so delicious, even though it was just a drink and a pastry, the choices were all exceptional. The cafe that served breakfast also serve an amazing fresh fish dinner to us one night. The town is small but picturesque and had everything we needed. We would have loved to have stayed longer to explore more of the surrounds. The little beaches within a short distance are clean and sandy. We were also lucky enough to be there one morning for a local market! There was some noise because there are 3 apartments on the same floor but nothing to disturb too much and we slept well. We would love to visit Isola Delle Femmine again and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Unico difetto primo piano senza ascensore

Prachtige locatie, smaakvolle ingerichte kamers. We hadden alle faciliteiten. Uit op de haventje en de bergen waren ongelooflijk. Ontvangst door host was heel hartelijk.

Alles was top!

Schönes frisch renoviertes Zimmer mit gut funktionierender Klimaanlage. Sehr zuvorkommender, hilfsbereiter Gastgeber.

La vista, il comfort, la disponibilità dell'host

Troppo freddo per accendere l'aria condizionata, troppi rumori per dormire con la finestra aperta.

The beds were so comfortable, and the service was above and beyond.

We split up so taking the key which turned off the power to the room was a bit of a juggle.

Con mia moglie abbiamo soggiornato in una spaziosa camera del B&B Vista Mare Rooms, dotata di balcone vista mare, frigo, climatizzatore e cassaforte. Stanza e bagno molto puliti e ordinati. Servizio del gestore della struttura cortese e premuroso (ha messo a disposizione degli ospiti anche una macchina per caffè espressi e cialde a consumo libero). Colazione fatta in un bar indicato dal gestore fruendo di un ticket fornito al nostro arrivo (il ticket garantisce cappuccino e cornetto, se si vuole prendere altro è a pagamento). Struttura consigliata per chi come noi voleva visitare Palermo rimanendo fuori dal caos cittadino.

Purtroppo il B&B Vista Mare Rooms è posizionato in una zona antistante il porto di Isola delle Femmine che agli occhi di chi arriva da fuori come noi appare alquanto degradata e poco curata. E' un peccato perchè il potenziale di questa zona sembra davvero alto, ma la sporcizia nelle strade (come quella trovata nelle spiagge libere) e la condizione degli edifici che sembrano essere fortemente trascurati condiziona la valutazione positiva della struttura, che invece ci è piaciuta molto.
