Muito aconchegante e confortável

The location is stunning. The house is very comfortable, with views over looking the river. There is a great view from the main bedroom and it's a big spacious room. The 2nd bedroom is smaller with 2 small single beds. The kitchen has all the equipment you'd need. The garden is really lovely, plenty of space with beautiful views. The pool is small, but nice for cool dips. We were in the uppermost of the 2 villas and it was very private. The drive is shared but was not an issue as there is plenty of parking space.

The entrance gate can be difficult to find in the dark. Also the roads to the villa could be challenging for people not used to small narrow windy roads.

This lovely house is a peaceful escape in nature, right next to the Támega River (it’s advised not to swim in it). It’s conveniently located between the charming town of Amarante and Marco De Canaveses (20 minutes drive) where you’ll find plenty of big supermarkets and facilities. The house is clean, well-equipped, and offers lots of privacy. The pool is small, not for swimming, but perfect for cooling down. The property is very private, with two houses well-positioned to ensure maximum privacy, a vegetable garden, and some friendly goats. The restaurant (of the owner) Pena is excellent, and the hostess was very friendly and thoughtful. A great place to stay!

There are a couple of things to note: the road leading to the property is a bit narrow and steep, making it a bit tricky to navigate and hard to find. Also, while the pool is refreshing, it’s quite small and not suitable for proper swimming (for teenagers or adults).
