Valley's Edge Apartments

Location suited us perfectly, as we were visiting our son, who lived nearby. Great apartment, with all the things you'd expect, but of a high quality. Very well-equipped kitchen area. Really comfortable beds. Strong and hot showers. Really pleasant balcony/view. Loads of space. All staff were professional and responded quickly to requests/questions.

A cafetière would have been handy and perhaps a small welcome pack; carton of milk, a few more breakfast tea-bags, a couple of pastries, some orange juice and ground coffee. That kind of thing. I understand that there may need to be a charge for a late arrival but I thought €35 was a little steep - especially as there was no earlier flight from Dublin.

Very nice, clean and spacious apartment in perfect condition. At the time of our visit (Nov. 2023) it looked like it was recently renovated since everything was like new. Our appartment (no. 5) had a nice view from the balcony towards the sea. It's located in a central part of Malta, near Valletta and San Julian's. We rented a car and it wasn't a problem to find a parking spot on the street near appartment.

Even though it's located in a quiet part of town where there's not much traffic you still may want to bring your earplugs just in case. We were woken up early in the morning by rifle shots. It turned out wildlife hunters like to use the field nearby for hunting... Also there was a guy taking a horse for a walk through the streets below our appartment every morning around 6 a.m. which also makes quite a bit of noise.

Nice place. New interior. In a residential area. Quiet street. Rental car or Bolt necessary to get anywhere, but we knew this before booking. A few bad points but overall a really good stay. So 8/10.

The bathroom smelled bad. But it seems like lots of places in Malta have plumbing & drainage problems. The apartment was smaller than we expected from the pictures. They charged us a late check in fee because our flight didn't land until late in the evening. It would have been better if they just sent us the code to access the door and someone could meet us the next day if they really wanted to. They charged a security deposit on a credit card. It was refunded a few days after we left which was fine but it is the first time we have ever had to do that after booking through booking.com

The apartment is very clean and comfortable.There is a bus stop nearby and a supermarket.

There is not too much to do around in Gwann The communication with the agency was not very often and a bit confused with long emails.

Very nice and new apartment with very easy, fast and clearly communication with owner. Neighborhood is quiet.

Maybe a little bit more equipment for cooking, but still okay.
