It was quirky, clean, air conditioned flat with good central location and available easy parking (as long arrival is outside restaurant hours)

It’s a basement so it smells and feels damp. Electric wiring is old so just need to be careful not to trip the system but good tips left in the property. Neighbours dog barked way too much though ;(

Close to the city centre , helpful owner, clean, well-equipped room .

Noise during weekend nights , not very good working wifi

Fantastic location! Walking distance to the lovely parts of Catania and it’s many attractions. Free parking available on the streets, meters away. Also, plenty of eating places all around to sample Sicilian cuisine. Communication with Valentina was great and very prompt. Taking into account it’s a grotto with no direct sunlight, the deco was bright to make the place feel welcoming. A good place to enjoy many offerings of Catania.

The place suited us fine but it may not be suitable for those with asthma issues or other respiratory problems. Internet was intermittent at times.

The bed was very comfortable and it is the perfect location, close to amazing restaurants and some really beautiful places to explore. For a small space it has been very well thought out and has everything you could need in a self catering apartment for a few days. I would definitely stay here again and would thoroughly recommend!

There is free parking right close by but it's not guaranteed and Catania is a very busy place however we didn't have an issue finding parking right outside

The shower cabin was not spacious. The feeling of the towels was strange. Humidity (but there was dehumidifier in the room). Problems with wi-fi.

The room was lovely, but wifi dificulties.

so unique, free road parking, lots of lively bars near the castle but not noisy in the room. very easy to deal with host via WhatsApp

The wi-fi is not great, which is important as you are underground in a stone building with poor phone reception.

This self check-in, unique apartment (rearranged basement) is in a great spot, really close to the city center. It was big enough for our family of three - two adults and a 5-year old. It's also equipped with all things you could possibly need (including air conditioner, TV, phone that works as a wifi router and some local products to have a quick breakfast & coffee). But what's most important is a really nice and helpful owner you can message in case of any questions or troubles and who makes you feel at home.

As this apartment is in fact a rearranged basement, there obviously has to be some downsides, like higher humidity in the room or weaker water pressure in pipes. But those did not affect our stay at all.
