Extremely convenient location, good proximity to bus stop, ferry, and restaurants. Seemed fairly well maintained, though not all rooms had AC despite the presence of AC units. Staff were friendly and helpful when the water went out in all of Moyogalpa—they swiftly set us up in another hostel that had extra water reserves.

All of the reviews that we read prior to staying here claimed that this hostel was quiet, however, we found it to be anything but. It is located right over the Landing bar, where the music blasts well into the evening hours. It’s worth noting that we needed to be up early to hike Concepción, but the music didn’t stop until very late at night. There are no screens on the windows and our first room was poorly ventilated, with no air conditioning, so we couldn’t close the window to help block out any of the noise. We asked repeatedly that they turn the music down, and ultimately the manager moved us to a room further away from the noise, that had AC so we could close the window, which helped. However, promptly at 5 AM, which was conveniently exactly when we needed to be awake, a man parked his truck near the ferry and proceeded to play the radio as loud as humanly possible. I think we could have heard it from the top of Concepción.

Didnt eat breakfast.

The lock to the door of the room was my biggest complaint. It is damaged and needs to be replaced. Everytime i wanted to unlock the door i spent about 5 minutes playing with the lock. Had chicken cordon bleu at restaurant. They used american cheese. It was aweful. Chicken cordon bleu is supposed to be made with swiss cheese.

This hotel padlocked the entrance gate into the hotel at night and had no one at the hotel to let me in. This was bad enough BUT what if you are locked inside at night and there's a fire???

Management.

Location very close to the pier. They have scooter rental in the front and accept credit card.

Only cold water available and the shower is extremely weak. We had free breakfast in the first day but not the second.

Very close to port and restaurants. The staff was excellent and attentive!

Room was a bit small for the price
