Lizzie's Cottage

Cute little cottage in a handy location for exploring the Mournes. Hot tub was a lovely bonus! We enjoyed our visit, and for the last-minute discounted rate which we paid (£117), it was good value.

The important things were certainly clean (bedding, shower etc.), but the cottage could do with a good deep clean - my partner has allergies and the heavy dust set them off. Also the provision of milk would have been appreciated.

Lovely place, very comfortable and warm. The hot tub is the highlight of course. Nice decor. Vince was friendly and helpful and has a good sense of humour. Lovely setting and private. And easy going about checking out. Overall, it's what we needed and we had a lovely time.

Nothing much to be honest. Obviously, a fire would be great but Vince explained its due to the space being so small that it would get to hot inside. I would suggest that you get a more comfy two- seater sofa, I know the space is limited but that would make all the difference.

Everything else was fab! Great facilities, comfy bed, very clean, great shower, and the hot tub was added bonus. The hot tub cover offers a little more privacy, which was good.

The property is a hidden gem at the bottom of the mountains with an exceptional view on a clear day. The hot tub is an added bonus which makes it all the more relaxing. The cottage has everything you need and close to the town centre. The host Vincie is an absolute gentleman who couldn’t have been more welcoming or done more for us! Will definitely be recommending to friends and we hope to be back soon!
