Seaside An Bang Homestay

Perfect location. Wonderful hosts. Lovely breakfast and comfortable room.

Noisy little wood termites.

The location was near the beach and was easy walking to Restaurants. It was in the quiet part of the An Bang area which did suit us. You could catch a Grab very easily. It is a short drive to the mail An bang area. The breakfast was ok.

The room was very dark and not very clean the sound of bugs or worse in the ceiling at night was upsetting. However the worst part was the bathroom, there was no drainage, and the toilet was located in the wrong position, so you had to paddle through water from the shower to use the toilet. If they provided a squeeze mop or even a bathmat would have helped. The room was not serviced for the three nights we were there, and no toilet paper provided. From the check-in there was high pressure sell to do tour, driver and they even owed a spa for massage. When we said not interested as we had been in Vietnam for 5 weeks already, they did not want to know us. But the kicker for me was on checkout. We choose to take a ground floor room due to the very narrow and high steps to get to the upper floor instead of the one we had booked. That room was rebooked every night. I know it was our choice, due to my mobility issues (New Knees) but we were still charged the higher price. But we were then charged for the 2 x 1ltr bottles of water she insisted she bring to the room on the first day. Never mentioned we had to pay for them. It was not a money issue just felt a rip off. We would not recommend to type of travelers like us in our 60S. Please note we have stayed in other Homestays without issue.

Lovely people, nice room, good location, 2 minutes from the beach, and 5 minutes cycle away from the main village centre.

Amazing hospitality, great location. Very close to the beach and nice rooms. We were greeted with refreshments on arrival. Owners are absolutely lovely.

Room wasn't the cleanest, there was wood dust over the pillows and the bathroom wasnt very clean. However we booked quite late, and it was the last room left so facilities better than expected.

Great location, near the beach and a few restaurants. Lovely old traditional style building, breakfast served on the balcony outside your room. Staff very friendly and helpful!

Great place to stay, very friendly and helpful staff, Nguyệt Thu especially went above and beyond to help us organise trips and for us to extend our stay, away from the hustle and bustle but only 8 min in Grab to Hoi An old town and a 2 min walk to the beach , wish we could of stayed longer

Nothing all good

Familiy is super nice and they took care of us when we were a little sick. They also helped us book a night train :) If you like staying at the beach and out of the town of Hoi An ( cca 5km) this is a perfect place. You can easily bike to town or catch a Grab :) Rooms are big and comfortable.
